Learn how to climb multi-pitch trad routes safely and efficiently based in Eryri/Snowdonia, North Wales on this 2 day course.

Equipment and gear management
Guidebooks and locating routes.
Route selection for weather, conditions and climbing level
Climbing calls and communication

Stance management & transitions
Abseils and retreat
Basic problem solving (stuck gear, tying off a belay plate, communication breakdown)
ADD ON Day Improvised Rescue Skills
In a multipitch environment it is much more complex to be able to solve minor to more serious problems due to not being able to lower a partner to the ground and the more remote nature of such routes.
Escaping the system
Hoisting a second (my most used rescue!)
Problems and solutions for abseiling
Descending and ascending a rope to reach a second
Lowering past a knot
Getting a unconscious casualty off a crag
